Gratitude to God

Lord, thank you for my possessions,

I give glory to you for all I have.

The Lord provides everything I need,

Of all confusions, He also rids me.

Precious is all things given by the Lord,

Because He gives with much love.

May I always find grace in your eyes,

And the Lord always improves my life.

May my life be in the center of your will,

May I have a good and generous heart with everyone,

Then kindness will reign in my life.

The goodness is pleasant to the Lord,

Because He is a God with much love.

For everything He does, I will always exalt you,

If I have something, it comes from you.

Deception

Some people can hurt us,

With our feelings, they can play.

About causing destruction, they give no attention,

About our hearts, they have no consideration.

Sometimes, we like the wrong person,

We dedicate our lives to the person,

But she does not repay us in anything.

The person always leaves us suffering.

Our heart starts to be closed,

We swear hate for all the others.

We say that it is not worth loving anyone,

We think we will be hurt by everyone.

There is someone who truly can love us,

That one who gave his life to save each of us,

Even not deserving, He gave us his love,

This is no other if not Jesus, our Lord.

God will never disappoint us,

His happiness, He will give us.

He will be with us the whole time.

He will be concerned about your entire life.

Do not destroy the love in your life,

Believe: there is God who loves you all the time.

Your life, He always will save,

And forever, He will love you.

The Resurrection

Everyone was very sad about what they saw on Friday,

There were doubts and a bit of uncertainty in the following days.

They had many doubts about what would happen,

They were thinking about what to do, and they stayed gathered.

On the first day of the week, his tombstone, three women went to visit him,

They intended to see the Lord again and to perfume his body.

But when they arrived, they had a wonderful and great surprise,

The stone was rolled away, and the Lord, they could not find it.

At the place, there was an angel and the great miracle, he announced:

“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He has revived!”

Great was the amazement of those who heard,

They do not believe the Lord Jesus to life has returned.

Immediately they came back to the disciples to tell them everything,

But they did not believe it, it seemed like they were raving.

Even with doubts, they went to the place that Jesus indicated,

They were waiting in the mount until the Lord had manifested.

This time, the disciples prostrated, and Jesus, they adored,

They concluded it was true what the women told about the Lord.

The Lord Jesus had risen like He had said before has died,

And he showed them. He is the Unique, true, and eternal Christ!

Crucifixion

On that Friday dawn, something important happened,

A friend was going to do one thing, and many lives would be changed.

Even being a friend, he did not hesitate, and with a kiss cheated,

He delivered his friend to those who for a long time desired him condemned.

His accusers took him to an unfair and forced judgment,

With some fake witnesses, he was considered worthy of punishment.

He was not even defended by one who said to be his friend,

He negated him many times, saying had never seen that man.

They demanded the maximum condemnation, the same for the worst bandits,

They wanted to kill him as an example to those who followed him.

They took him to the governor to confirm the condemnation,

But it was not found any guilty in him, recommending his liberation.

But his accusers insisted He should be punished,

And they even demanded in his place a bandit would be released.

He was taken to receive the first part of his punishment,

Humiliation, aggression, to mock the King, a thorn crown on his head.

After many aggressions and suffering, they decided to execute his penalty,

They made him go through a way to continue humiliating him.

Even being fragile, a heavy cross they did him carry,

Many who saw him, mocked him, but his followers were weeping.

When He arrived at the place, they started a painful crucifixion,

Big iron nails were nailed to his feet and hands.

His accusers continued mocking him again and again,

They continued challenging him to do a miracle in front of them.

He stayed in his cross receiving that terrific penalty,

His body was much debilitated and had difficulty living.

Then He said the words that finished with his suffering:

“It is finished”, and at that moment, He gave up his spirit.
