Though the world is in deep chaos,
Yet I’ll rejoice in the rest of the Lord.
Though there are wars on every side,
Yet I’ll find peace in the arms of the Lord.
Though there are famines and plagues,
Yet I’ll dwell safely with the Lord.
Though there are several calamities,
Yet I’ll lean on the protection of the Lord.
Though I’m attacked relentlessly,
Yet I’ll be hidden behind the shield of the Lord.
Though people don’t consider me,
Yet I’ll be valuable in the sight of the Lord.
Though all seems to be leading me to nothing,
Yet I’ll trust in the guidance of the Lord.
Though I don’t know what will happen,
Yet I’ll rely on the plan of the Lord.
