If I write a poem of adoration,
I want to show God my heart’s devotion.
May He see the love inside me,
My heart delights when I praise Him.
I make it to express to God my feelings,
And to demonstrate all my love for Him.
I really like to do it,
I feel the need to write.
It is like a conversation between God and me,
While the poem is forming.
It is the Lord who comes to inspire me,
With the right words, He comes to talk to me.
I make it to exalt his name,
And to announce his name in other places.
May everyone know about the Lord,
And they learn everything about his love.
God is a God with much love,
And every day, He inspires me.
May each poem can touch you,
And God can approach you.
