By an illness, Hezekiah was afflicted,
He consulted the prophet to know about his destiny.
And the Lord revealed his word,
Soon Hezekiah would leave this world.
The king was saddened and prayed a lot,
Remembering all his deeds for the Lord,
At this very moment, the king cried bitterly,
He knew that his time was finishing.
But soon came the Lord’s reply,
The servant’s prayer reached the sky.
The Lord paid attention to his cry,
The Lord gifted him with the illness’ cure.
And He added fifteen years to his life.
A great deliverance was granted to him,
The Lord promised to free him from the enemy.
To confirm the miracle, he asked for a signal,
Hezekiah asked God to delay the sun.
The ask was made to God by the prophet Isaiah,
God heard the request of King Hezekiah.
He could see the Lord’s fidelity,
God has never abandoned him.
